Quotes
Detective Morton: Security monitor records the victim entering the room with a woman at 10:13. Same monitor records a male leaving just after midnight.
Scully: Couldn't she have just changed clothes?
Detective Morton: Thought of that. Male is definitely a different person. Short hair and at least 30 pounds heavier. The video never recorded his entry nor the chippy ever leaving.
Scully: Well, we're 30 floors up, no other means of egress. Did the Medical Examiner establish a case of death?
Detective Morton: Guy blew an artery. Must have been some roll in the hay.
Scully: You think there's a new drug on the streets?
Mulder: The oldest drug, not even illegal. Each body showed the presence of huge amounts of pheremones.
Scully: The chemicals animals secrete? You mean sexual attractants?
Mulder: Radar Love
, only about 100 times stronger than found anywhere in nature. Strong enough to produce anaphylactic shock or a coronary.
Scully: So you think sonebody's synthesizing them?
Mulder: It's been done, but in nowhere near these consentrations and hold on to your hat, Scully, because you're gonna love this. The pheremones we're talking about, they contain human DNA.
Mulder: I know, that is a puzzle.
Scully: So, what is our profile of the killer? Indeterminate height, weight, sex; unarmed, but extremely attractive?
Mulder: It gets weirder.
Scully: Aren't they famous for their abstinence and pure Christian ways?
Mulder: Yes, but it looks like one of them may have forgotten to clean under his fingernails.
Scully: There's something up there, Mulder.
Mulder: Ooh, I've been saying that for years.
[The path they are following through the woods peters out]
Mulder: Oh, for a 4-wheel drive.
Mulder: Now, this... that's... west.
[Pointing in different directions]
Scully: What does the map say?
Mulder: That we should be there already.
[Crumples up and drops the map]
Mulder: The Addams Family finds religion.
Scully: Take me back to the 20th century.
Scully: What are you doing?
Mulder: I'm going back for a little look-see.
Mulder: Maybe they went to the movies.
[Noticing that all the Kindred are gone]
Mulder: What the hell were you doing back there?
Scully: I don't know.
Mulder: You don't know?
Scully: No.
Mulder: How're you feeling?
Scully: Better. A little embarrassed, actually.
Mulder: Why? You don't remember any of it.
Mulder: I know what I saw, Scully. And I saw you about to do the wild thing with some stranger.
Michael: The club scene used to be so simple. Off the record
Mulder: Scouts honor.
Scully: We can't rule out the possibility that who we're looking for is a transvestite.
Mulder: I think Don Juan in there knows the difference between the male and female of the species.
Scully: They had no means of transportation...
Mulder: No earthly means of transportation.
